Special color for coloring silicone rubber, either to distinguish different shapes or if silicone rubber is used as a casting material to create the desired color of the silicone casting.
The silicone colors are highly pigmented. Only a small addition is therefore required. The required amount of silicone color also depends on the basic color of the silicone used - the silicones are usually already colored by the manufacturer in order to be able to distinguish between different silicones.
As silicones with a white basic shade, silicone types 11 and 12 are suitable for opaque through-colouring, silicone types 13 and 15 (translucent) and type 19 (transparent) for a more translucent, translucent through-colouring.
