application areas
In general, the glow in the dark effect can be created in various creative activities both indoors and outdoors. The luminous pigments are ideal for:
- Painting, decorating, handicrafts
- Decorate/mark surfaces
- nail design
- luminous jewelry
- Airbrush applications
afterglow pigments
Features & Benefits
The high-quality phosphorescent powder is a phosphor that has a particularly strong and long-lasting luminosity. When charged via daylight (sunlight), artificial light or UV light, the color pigments can glow for many hours at night.
The luminous powder is neither toxic nor radioactive. Thus, it can be used without any problems, for example, to illuminate individual elements in children's rooms (e.g. stars, light switches).
- Non-toxic & water-insoluble
- Processing at up to 1000°C
- Infinite chargeability
- Charged by daylight or artificial light
- Up to 12 hours of luminosity
- Diverse areas of application

Application examples
Luminous images The pigments can be mixed and used in different colors. In this way, unique pictures with a luminescent effect can be painted. |
Luminous elements The powder can be mixed into the appropriate material and applied to decorate or mark objects. Set luminous accents on a wide variety of objects, such as a table. |
Glowing candles When the luminescent pigments are incorporated into candle wax, luminous effects can be achieved in addition to the candle light if the wax is sufficiently transparent. |
Luminous jewelry The luminous powder can also be applied to jewelry with certain materials. Mix the pigments in a transparent silicone, for example, and then apply this to the piece of jewellery. |
Carrier Fluids & Binders
The carrier liquids & binders used for the application, as well as the selected substrate, should have special properties. Since the pigments can only release their luminosity under certain conditions, the most important property of these materials is their transparency.
Colorless carriers and binding agents such as silicone rubber, synthetic resins (resin, resin, casting resin), epoxy resin, polyurethane foam, acrylic, varnish, paste, paint or glue are particularly suitable. For indoor use, solvent-free carrier fluids such as clear lacquer or a colorless dispersion are recommended - both based on acrylic. Mixing with airbrush paints, oil paints and watercolors is also possible.
Mixing ratio (recommendation)
To produce your fluorescent paint, we recommend a mixing ratio of 1:2, ie 1 unit of powder to 2 units of carrier/binder. The higher the particle content, the stronger the luminosity.
