Kneading Concrete: Creative modelling, kneading and mold making
Modeling clay is the basis for a qualitatively convincing modeling clay. The measured addition of water creates a modelable and kneadable material for a wide range of creative uses. There are hardly any limits to creativity. Modeling, kneading, punching out, cutting, even making molds is possible with kneaded concrete. This is how pretty decorative elements, ornaments, reliefs, filigree flowers and blossoms, bowls, designer jewelery or vases are created. In short: kneaded concrete is the ideal material for giving your own ideas the right shape.

The advantages of kneaded concrete are obvious. The modeling clay can be processed in a similar way to clay. Unlike clay, the kneadable concrete hardens by itself. A kiln is not required. Wearing rubber gloves is mandatory when modeling and kneading. The ready-to-use kneadable concrete has excellent material properties for modeling and kneading. The fresh mass created when mixing with water can be used for about an hour. This is how typical sausages are created from the modeling clay as the basis for the design of three-dimensional bodies. Rolling out plates and cutting out shapes works in a similar way to working with clay or salt dough.

Wetting the freshly modeled parts with a little water is enough to puzzle together several creative components to form an overall shape. If the pieces are then joined together, a solid whole is created.

Recommendation:

Material processing:

Always mix only that amount of material that can be used within 60 minutes.
Material that is already in the solidification process must not be diluted with water again.
The solidification process takes 60 minutes.
The kneaded concrete is completely dry after about 24 hours.
